This tree is super hardy, down to Zone 5, and puts on a gorgeous show of pink blossoms every spring.
The leaves start shiny green and turn bronze to red in fall – beautiful year-round.
Seeds need about 90 days of cold stratification before planting, then they sprout in 12-21 days.
They like full to medium sun and well-draining soil – chalk, clay, loam, peat, sand, or silt all work, just keep it acidic.
